Bringing West Coast Eastward, an amazing night of Montreal and Vancity dubstep, grime, jungle, electro mashups from Mtl natives The Dubstep Experiment's Jack and Taal Mala from Vancouver's LIGHTA! crew!
After a chance meeting, long time fixture on the Montreal scene, Sase One and Jack, a recent arrival to Montreal from the UK got talking about music. Realizing they both had similar tastes, from hardcore, through jungle and breaks, Sase One and Jack quickly hit it off.
When they started talking about dubstep they realized that no one in Montreal was playing it, and there was nowhere that you could hear it as loud as it should be. Before long, The Dubstep Experiment was hatched up….
The Dubstep Experiment is dedicated to bringing an irregular series of journeys into the depths of bass to Montreal. Dropping the heaviest dubstep, sublow, dub, call it what you want... music to make you move.
Buried an excess a tin pan soundboys along side the likes of The Bug, Kode9, Benga, Skream, Hatcha, Loefah, Youngsta, Martyn, Ghislain Poirier, Bassnectar and DJ Collage. Taal Mala mixes it up like the slickest bassmonster in the Vancouver scene. Repping the West Coast dub scene as a part of the LIGHTA! crew, deep bass king of mashups and get downs.
