From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse.

When: Saturday November 17th - 2:00PM (arrive early but remain concealed until "the signal")
Where: The bottom floor of the Bay Center (below the clock, where the fountains used to be)
What: A disco dance party!

REMEMBER: DON'T just stand around the area of the flash mob before hand. It's important that participants remain inconspicuous or hidden nearby until the exact moment when the mob begins. (If possible, keep your costume or wigs concealed until we start.) Pretend to read, hide in a tree, or sulk in the shadows - anything that will keep the mob low profile until "the signal".

At exactly 2pm (mall clock chime), the signal dancer (with a boombox blasting the tune for our dance floor) will enter the middle of the space and start dancing. Once the "signal dancer" has begun, all of the concealed participants nearby can then walk (run / whatever) into the circle and join the dance party.

- everybody grooves for about ten minutes -

After about ten minutes of grooving in the mall, the music will stop. At this point, everybody should disperse and disappear in all directions. (The mob should vanish as quickly as it formed.) There will be a secret rendezvous meeting place afterwards where we'll be getting together to discuss how things went, and to formulate our plans for a "buy nothing day" mob event.

INVITE ANYBODY YOU'D LIKE, but keep it secret so that the "flash mob" seems spontaneous.
