Work It, Girl (or Guy)!: A Day of Technique Building, Body Creativity and Conditioning for the Tribal Fusion Dancer.
Come and enjoy this intense (and fun) workout! This class is designed for any level of dancer who wishes to push themselves in the realms of strength, flexibility and endurance. Using a variety of movement methods, we will condition and tone the muscles that we rely on most as bellydancers, emphasizing healthy alignment of the spine and joints. After a warm-up and mat session, we will then rock out with technique-focused drills that get the rhythm in our bodies and our blood pumpin! This body-warming class will culminate in fresh dance combinations! Again, all levels are welcome; beginners are particularly welcomed! Please dress as though you are going to a yoga class; bring a yoga mat or a towel, a hip scarf and water bottle (preferably full).

Gothic Belly dance Combinations and Choreography
Learn Ariellah's unique style of belly dance by working with her on gothic belly dance combinations and choreography. The workshop includes a yoga infused warm up and repetitive drilling of dark fusion infused belly dance combinations. Students will learn a short choreography that infuses the combinations learned in the workshop.

this workshop delivers combinations for quicker tempos. using combinations in improvisational dance is a good way to keep your head whilst striving for variety and contrast. movements will be broken down and drilled. combinations will be joined together to form a short, original choreography. some belly dance experience highly recommended.

Drill Camp
Learn the basics of Ariellah's tribal fusion technique by way of drilling. This class brings an intensive journey to this dance form; working, strengthening and fine tuning all movements related to arms, belly, chest, and hips. Be prepared for a rigorous and challenging workshop that asks and prepares the student to take their dance to another level.

The Sweet and Low Down
another day another dance, but today drops itself into a jar of molasses. mardi presents combinations borne out of her slow-dancin bag of tricks. new movements are introduced, as well as new takes on some basic slower moves in the tribal repertoire. some belly dance experience highly recommended.

Bear Hides and Buffalo: A Slightly Strange Tribal Fusion Choreography
This is an all-levels class that allows us to explore the more Avante-garde side of bellydance. After a warm up and short drill session, we’ll integrate Tribal Fusion bellydance moves with some unexpected twists, borrowed from classical dance and beyond. Some experience is great, but adventurous beginners are encouraged to give it a whirl. Comfy stretchy dance clothes are always a good idea.
