The Dragon, known as "Rufus," was made by the Vancouver Dragon Maker's Guild for Drive Fest on Commercial Drive this past Sunday. You can see pictures of the construction, as well as the Dragon in place on the jungle gym in Grandview Park just off Commercial drive here: flickr.com/photos/kenle...605652916637/
The Dragon was slain at the end of Drive Fest, and we have the head to prove it! If you are interested in owning your very own cardboard dragon head, perhaps for mounting above your fireplace as the ultimate hunter's trophy, let us know!
The Dragon has sustained some minor damage after hours of play/abuse by children in the park, as well as the necessary slaying by decapitation. However, this damage will be easily repaired by the Dragon Maker's Guild with the help of the Dragon Maker's principle tools: the Rapid 31 stapler and the glue gun.
We'd be happy to answer any questions you may have by email.
The Dragon Head must be picked up by the buyer! The Head is too big to move or ship. We suggest bringing a pickup truck or a van. The Dragon Head is approximately the size of a T. Rex skull, and can be found in the Commercial Drive neighborhood in Vancouver.
