VOLUNTEER PERFORMERS NEEDED FOR PARADE OF LOST SOULS 2008
This coming Saturday, October 25, come participate in creating one of the most exciting community events of the year and offer your performance skills! We are still in need of the following:
Cheap Art Tarts – your version of a cigarette girl, in your own costume/character, to help sell cheap art for donations to public dreams!
Milkmaids of Human Kindness – we provide a costume, you offer your charm and character to ask donations of the crowd
Shifts are Oct. 25 6-10pm
TV Head - Someone wear our giant TV head costume that magnifies and distorts the face (super cool, someone must do this!) in the 'Black Zone' of the parade route
Bird Puppeteers – White, black and red bird puppets need to be carried in the parade! Shifts from 5:30 onward, depending on the puppet (white start first, and we are hoping to find lots of young people for white birds, but all are welcome!)
To Volunteer, contact Monika, Volunteer Coordinator at Public Dreams (604) 879-8611 or attend the volunteer orientation from 6-9pm on Wed. OCt. 22 at the Britannia Community Centre Cafeteria and sign up for a shift on spot, while eating yummy snacks and being trained!
The event is happening in 4 days so please be in touch asap if you're interested!
