Hi there!
I'm subletting a peaceful & spacious room for rent for the month of August (with the possibility of extending the sublet into the first week of September, if you're interested).
The room is large & furnished (large bed, desk, dresser, etc) with a big window that faces our front-yard garden and a big park accross the street. You would have access to a bit of closet space as well.
The house is a quiet and friendly space off of Commercial Drive on 15th Avenue. It's within walking distance to the Broadway & Commercial Skytrain/B-line station, which will allow you to get anywhere in the city with relative ease. We're also a few blocks away from Trout Lake, which is lovely for wandering over the the farmers' market on Saturday mornings.. And of course, we're blocks away from the Drive, where you'll find cheap groceries, entertainment, and lots of friendly faces.
You'd be sharing the rest of the house with two other friendly & creative people in their late 20's, and one equally friendly cat.
The price of the room is $495 plus a bit of money for utilities, with a $250 damage deposit.
