Hey there community and extended family...
As I hope you're aware, the Temple of Dance is coming (and in just under a week now). It's going to be two floors of dancing goodness, another beautiful party brought to you by the Rainbow Cathedral.
If you plan to come, make sure you get your ticket soon (because they are selling fast!). However, before we get too far ahead of ourselves... a number of our "organizational pods" are still looking for capable volunteers as well. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We're still looking for people to help with a variety of different positions through out the evening, including:
- parking
- concession
- the door
- psycrisis
- cleanup
- and more...
There should be enough variation in the available pods & shifts that people of all different skill sets and availabilities can help out. Depending on your crew, some shifts will end earlier in the evening (so you can run off and dance), while others will require people at different varying time slots (for instance: to keep the concession running). All this means is that it should be easy to find a pod that will work with your schedule / availability / skillset. Oh, and I should mention, volunteers get a discounted ($15) ticket too! (Sorry, there are no "free" tickets for this event.)
Anybody who's interested in helping out should get in touch with me asap. Don't worry too much about tracking the right people down - EVERYONE can contact me first, and then I'll connect everyone to whatever pods are still seeking. (We wanted to simplify the volunteer process, and avoid sending people all over to different pod leaders.)
