Weird up & greets SupaFreeeks!

Now I'm seeking a last minute ride to BM when until a couple weeks ago I wasn't even entertaining the thought. I'll be bringing:
- 3 duffle sized bags (maybe 4, possibly 2)
- maybe cash for gas (probably when I get there, good for it afterwards)
- contagiously fun and helpful optimistic attitude
- some crazy stories (only if you want to hear em)
- groovy choons (only if you want to hear phat trax phartin out da bass, or chill, or whatev - name it, I got some)
- lots of gratitude
The earliest I can leave is directly after a 10:30am appointment Friday, say, like around noon. I've got a recently updated BC licence, I'm a great power driver (good for 36 hours straight), haven't got a passport but I shouldn't have any border problems. I'm not in any particular rush to get home.
If this address seems familiar it's because for the last several months I've been keeping a low profile staying with the most hospitable, groovy, and (in)famous Cabana Boy & Dianamite.

First some non-cent$:
A free ride is certainly better than not but I'd be happy to reach an agreement on how to make it happen. Right now I'm too stretched to cover a ride up front. On playa I'm aiming to collect some substantial debts from last year living in Oakland directing a short film so I may settle up on playa, or if not I'll be good for it after BM when I'm back in Vancouver. My ticket and food will be waiting for me in the desert.
More nonsense about me:
I've been to BM 9 times. This year will be my Decade of Decadancin. In Vic & Van again since December, I've lived and burned in BC, Ontario, San Francisco, New York, Austin, etc... I'm always grateful for and happy to participate in the massive community of good folks that come together and inspire me beyond words through the good and the rough. Rougher times lately, but fortunately BM adds funderful friends, intriguing inspiration, and manifests a modicum of meaning in my life beyond the generic, commercial, capitalistic, consumerist, cubicle society that most of us unfortunately inhabit a lottle too much. Directing computer animation and short independent films is great but I'm always yearning to find more balance, substance, structure, and intentional life with purpose. But enough of these verbose ramblings of a lunatic mind, Google me on the interweb cloud to learn more about me or for more things, stuff, junk, and crap about me just have a look at my neglected and out of date web site:
