Cover to Cover of Useful Information
Page after page of information! I personally found it difficult to read for simple pleasure, because there is just so much information and terminology to digest. However, I'm glad to have read it and I love owning this book as I can always go back to it for reference.

*History of female entertainers and the political climate in which they performed
*Extensive interviews with performers in present-day Egypt
*Examining the social context in which female entertainers are scrutinized
