Hello, my name is Tracy and I am a ACN Independent Representative. I recommend using ACN VoIP Digital phone services (www.MyACN.com). I signed up for ACN VoIP services in Dec 2005. ACN Digital phone services is cheaper than Vonage plus ACN allows you to buy a video phone to go with your digital phone service!! ACN is the only company that offers both the phone and the service. ACN Digital phone service will replace your need for your land line phone. The service not only includes unlimited local and long distance calling throughout North America it also gives all the bells and whistles of you regular land line: Call waiting , call forwarding, call display, voicemail etc... all at no extra charge. To answer Xtine's question in regards to hardware: If you choose the ACN Digital phone service firstly you must have a high-speed internet connection and if you choose to sign up without purchasing the video phone you would have to purchase an adapter for roughly $10 US plus shipping. And yes the set up is simple. If you follow the step by step instructions you'll be up and running in less than 15 minutes.
