The toxic long-term effects of aspartame are often dismissed as a "hoax" by the sweetener industry. After viewing this documentary and learning the history of this artificial sweetener, you will be shocked as to how it was ever approved for human consumption. When aspartame was finally approved by the FDA, Donald Rumsfeld was the chairman of the company G.D. Searle who held the patent on aspartame. In 1985 Monsanto purchased G.D.
