freecycle.org makes me love the internet even more. It is a web based group that allows people to exchange a multitude of items with no money involved. You can receive emails or browse the site and can get rid of almost anything instantly. I have freecycled art, electronics, books, furniature, you name it. I have also seen amazing stuff on there. No more filling up landfills with functional items. Next time before you buy something, check freecycle first. - rayann teapants
