this cafe is amazing! the music, the ambiance and especially the food! the menu is great with lots of vegetarian and meat-lovers choices and the servings are HUGE! the crepes are to die for. they serve breakfast lunch and dinner. breakfast crepes include the eggs bene crepe with real homemade hollandaise, the denver which is loaded with sausage, cheese, veggies, ham, eggs, garlic rosemary aioli sauce, as well as a yummy vegetarian crepe called the hipster, with smoked tofu and veggies. they also have grilled paninni baguettes, true montreal style, dinner savoury crepes with swiss wine sauce, daily chef creations, and dessert crepes that'll make your mouth water. the prices are totally affordable too, 12 bucks will buy you a meal that'll have you stuffed for the whole day plus a drink. the women who run the place are beautiful and cool and really friendly. i highly recommend this secret spot in Victoria, check it out and tell your friends! its my new favorite place, and definetely worth the trip from downtown(only a ten minute drive), and something unique apart from all the trendy places downtown. weekends are already getting packed though sometimes with line ups, so get there earlier to ensure a table! there is a nice little patio, and they have a little herb garden there. - nasstasia , posted 05/11/08 |
