...AND will leave you with the ability to care for yourself without having to pay anyone else for this service once you are through. Neuro-Somatic Therapy listens to your current needs and helps you to allow space for the changes that are occurring in a natural, never forceful, way.

SIMPLY STATED NST IS THE VERY BEST WAY TO UNDERSTAND WHERE YOU ARE AT, WHAT YOU NEED, and HOW TO GET THERE with EASE - NO MATTER WHAT YOUR CONDITION MAY BE (!) Be that physical tauma, emotional crisis or a lot of both, N.S.T. has a way to help you view yourself and move through whatever 'it' is one layer at a time.

Have you ever heard of the LIQUID CRYSTAL MODEL of the body? It's true - you have it (!) and it's yours to discover.

WHY WAIT? Especuially if you are in any kind of emotional or physical pain. Neuro-Somatic Therapy can even help with recover from injury, insult and/or pain after you have been to see the doctor, so CHECK IT OUT *** This is especially important for people who have been told by their doctor that "there is nothing we can do." You are in charge of your outlook and attitude - you decide what can be done... START HERE * NST works (and is designed) for stress and exhaustion too... you are only going to feel better!

Read what's there above and below and then call. If you are wondering how this could be such a good deal, it's because these people REALLY CARE and they are here for you, not your money - honestly. I have my frist level degree from the NST Institute and I would not give that up for anything! - Unsubscribed , posted 08/15/05

Over the last two years the Institute has grown to need an eight room clinic. At present, we are accepting a new ?stream? of ten students every four months. The clinic also provides a practice and teaching space for the Institute as well as a clinic for a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (myself), a professional Acupuncturist and a Registered Massage Therapist.

During this time we have also been developing and preparing training manuals and instructional videos for the course participants and for a correspondence version of the program that we are hoping to have available for November 2005.

Neuro Somatic Therapy (Applied Neuro Somatics?) is an evolutionary form of healing which focuses on the treatment of physical pain, emotional distress and exhaustion. The most common and most erosive medical challenges that people face today.

As a system of healing, "Neuro Somatic Therapy" focuses on the treatment of physical pain, emotional distress and exhaustion; the most common and most erosive medical challenges that people face today. As an experience, NST is a journey through, and a restoring of, injured tissues, embodied patterns of distress and/or the inner emptiness of exhaustion.

The Neuro Somatic Therapy Institute (NSTI) was created in response to a growing interest in integrative and holistic models of therapy. Many deeply inspired people are interested in professional training that is accessible without going into great debt, as well as allowing them to maintain care of their families. At present, the Institute offers a twelve month (300 hour) course in Applied Neuro Somatics?.

NST is a form of manual or ?hand?s on? therapy that integrates several existing methods of Body-Work, Breath-Work and Energy-Work. Such as;

 Neuro Muscular Therapy
 Myofascial Release Therapy
 Chinese Therapeutic Massage
 Cranio-Sacral Therapy
 Medical Qi Gong (Daoist Energy Work)
 As well as methods of Body-Work and Energy-Work from Indigenous systems of healing.

NST is also influenced by the leading edge sciences called Psycho-Neuro-Immunolgy (PNI) and Quantum Physics. PNI is the first science to prove conclusively, through the discovery of Neuro Peptides, that the Mind and Body are the same. Said another way, everything that occurs in our experience, and in our bodies, influences every aspect of our being. This holistic science has shown that Body-Work, Breath-Work and Energy-Work are profoundly influential to our health. Quantum Physics, through the studies of the electromagnetism of the human heart and brain, and through the Liquid Crystal model of organic life, has also greatly influenced the development of NST.

The techniques used by trained practitioners in Neuro Somatic Therapy are skilled and deep. NST focuses on several qualities of treatment, including:

Guiding - a person into deep states of mind/body connection.
Relieving ? sensations of stress in the body due to physical or emotional injury.
Increasing ? blodd circulation to sore & tired muscles.
Relaxing ? hyper tonic muscles and encouraging full range of motion (R.O.M).
Encouraging ? a conscious relationship with the mind and body.
Creating ? a comfortable environment for a person to relax into.

Long term distress keeps our vervous system, hormonal system, immune system and our mind in a state of fight or flight, in a state of ?arousal?. This can be very damaging to our body and our mind: our soul.

To embrace your path toward healing and living a healthy lifestyle, it is important to understand and recognize the different stages and levels of stress and how it effects your body.

In NST (Neuro Somatic Therapy) there are 3 stages of Adaptation to Chronic Distress:

1. Arousal or Shock ? This is the first stage (which encompasses six stages in itself) that we unconsciously and then consciously embrace, where we become ?aroused? or ?shocked? by traumatic incidence whether it be physical or emotional. In this stage our body and mind braces with and against states of arousal and shock. Adrenals are released into our blood cells. (?adrenal rush?). A lot of the blood that usually surrounds our gut (GI tract) is immobilized. This leaves our digestive immune terrain with insufficient resources.

2. Adaptive Overstrain ? Fatigue. This is the next stage of distress, if we have not treated ourselves from the first initial shock of our suffering; emotional or physical will invoke symptoms of illness. This phase puts an unhealthy demand on our system (tissues, muscles, glands etc). To be in a state of overstrain taxes our system before it has a chance to rejuvenate. Some effects of this stage are:

>>>>>Adreanal glands become enlarged due to the secretion of two different kinds of hormones: pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory. This causes a negative effect on our system.

>>>>>Causes changes in the protective barrier of our digestive system which inhibit our ability to assimilate necessary nutrients and often cause ulceration of the digestive tract. The longer we stay in the stage of Adaptive Overstrain, the more destructive these changes become.

>>>>>Constipation; diarrhoea; gas; abdominal distension; increased sensitivity to irritating foods and a general feeling of nervous fatigue result from irritated digestive systems.

>>>>>Hyper-tension, insomnia, stiff and sore muscles, headaches, menstrual irregularities and almost all inflammatory disease. (?-it is diseases)

>>>>>The longer we experience this stage, the worse our moods become. Minor upsets are seen as significant losses or catastrophe.

>>>>>Our postures deteriorate. Many people become so busy they forget their bodies for months at a time; even years.

>>>>>We can become hyper-vigilant, looking for problems in places where there probably aren?t any.

3. Exhaustion ? This stage is where dis-ease and illness manifest. At this level of stress we know that something is very wrong in our lives as we will probably have been diagnosed with a chronic or degenerative disease. Some symptoms of this stage include:

>>>>>Our nervous system begin to show signs of deterioration (e.g. facial ticks, tremors, poor co-ordination) and we experience a feeling of being ?burned out?.

>>>>>Our immune system becomes seriously compromised and our digestive system becomes of great concern to our health.

>>>>>Our mind become unfocused and tired.

>>>>>Approximately 30% of people suffering from adaptive exhaustion experience chronic fatigue syndrome and Fibromyalgia; the other 70% suffer from hyper-tension, cardiovascular disease and the more inflammatory auto-immune diseases.

>>>>>We experience chronic pain.

>>>>>Life becomes a constant struggle and our health declines rapidly.

SIX STAGES OF AROUSAL

I. Bracing for Conflict ?into our chest. Our first reaction is to hold our selves by drooping our shoulders inward braceing against any unwanted pain. This stage effects the upper front of our body, shoulders to the center of our chest. Often times our back pains are due to the unresolved strain we unconsciously place into the muscles of our chest. It is important to work on this area (in the chest) to loosen up and dissolve any lactic acid crystal buildup developed in our muscles due to ?bracing?.

II. Arousal to Conflict ? has an effect on the shoulder blades, collarbone and on up to the neck muscles. Our shoulders then become raised. Do you ever notice when you tell your self to relax, your shoulders go down?

III. Unconscious Reactivity ? Recruits the base of the skull, the neck area and middle of back to the inside shoulder baldes.

IV. The urge to Control ? affects the muscles between then bones of the hand and forearm, as well as the jaw.

V. Apprehension or Withdrawal ? impinges upon the muscles in the lower back between the bottom ribs and the top of the pelvis.

VI. Resistance or Shame ? will recruit muscles in the stomach and diaphragm area.

The first 3 stages (I -III) are ?Precognitive States?: meaning it happens before our mind even thinks about it; instinctual; Unconscious.

The next three stages (IV -VI) are ?Subjective Mental and Emotional States? which we are ?consiously? aware of and can easily control with guidance.

Relief from all these symptoms and more are available thru the Neuro Somatic Therapy Institute.

ONTO THE SACRED PATH OF HEALING

It is important to understand that it is NEVER TOO LATE to heal your self. Our bodies are amazing, beautiful, complex organic systems mainly composed of water, cells and energy that are continually in a state of renewal. It just takes patience, time and energy. Energy is vital to all aspects of life and circulates throughout the body along specific pathways called meridians. When this energy flow is interrupted or weakened, imbalance occurs which can lead to disharmony and disease. If we use our own healing forces, coupled with techniques taught to us thru NST, by directing and regulating the flow of this energy (often called Qi: pronounced Chee) to restore balance in our body, we are well on our way to optimal health.

Health Is Wealth!

A GREAT INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY!!!

In September 2005 we will be expanding the course to include some training in nutritional medicine, trauma counseling and therapeutic exercise. This will expand the course to two eight month ?years? of training with the traditional summer break. This will add to the credibility of NST in the professional community and increase the confidence and skill level of each practitioner.

Over the next year we are planning a series of four day workshops in the surrounding area; such as Vancouver, Calgary, Vernon and Kelowna. This will help draw students from outside of Nelson, avoiding a saturation of Neuro Somatic Therapists locally. Also, this will provide an opportunity to introduce the correspondence course to the general public. We are also developing a three year teacher training program. It seems reasonable to assume that we will be able to open a satellite school in four years. In the next five years it is possible to have three schools running with the same format in Western Canada. As NST becomes a publicly established therapeutic model we will publish an introductory text for the general public. This will greatly increase the interest in the correspondence course, weekend seminars and training at one of the Institutes.

Example of investment opportunity: If you were to buy 500 shares at $13.67 ($6,835.00) today, in 2008 your shares will be worth approximately $17,000.00. As well, you would receive a shareholder profit of $5,200.00.

Please keep in mind that these projections are VERY cautious. We are confident that the correspondence course will interest more than 140 people per year, and the Student Clinic income has the potential to approach $90,000.

Feel free to contact me at work (250-352-0459) or at home (250-352-9723).

Thank you for your interest,
