ONE FREE ROUND: AFBPromotions (www.aidforbands.com) will be doing ONE free round of offline promotions in January 2005. For anyone interested in having their materials passed around the globe by our offline teamers keep reading. DEADLINE for submissions: December 1st, 2004 Email me for a mailing address! wednesday@aidforbands.com Please send regular postage paid mail, no UPS (or other person to person) delivery please (no one's home during the day - the time they LOVE to show up! So your parcel might be sent back to you) WHAT TO SEND IN: Materials I'm looking for: - Flyers (full, quarter, half sheets - NO SHOW FLYERS unless you have a blank area that the teamers can fill in themselves) - CD/CD-Rs/demos/samplers/etc. (paper/plastic cases + artwork please - NO JEWEL CASES) - Pens/pencils/markers/etc. - Post cards/flyer cards - Press releases, bio pages, fact sheets, etc. - Buttons/pins/badges - Business cards - Stickers - Print zines, comics, etc. - And other small light weight promo materials or product samplers you may have on hand. (no lighters, candles, matches or other flammable/combustable/illegal materials) YOU DUPLICATE ... WE DISTRIBUTE: YOU must replicate/duplicate all promotional items/materials to send in to us for re-distribution, we will not do that for you! Our teamers give everything away for free in their local areas (anyone caught selling will be kicked off the team). You can send in as much or as little as you like. Most bands generally send us anywhere from 5 - 100+ of each item. The more you send in, the better your chances are of getting your name and products in more packages and "out there" to the public. WE'RE INTERNATIONAL: We currently have 30 ACTIVE offline street teamers (over 60 teamers in all) in the following areas: Canada (Ontario - Brantford & London), USA (IL, NE, VA, DE, PA, NY, CT, WI, IA, CO, OR, FL, WA, MO, MI, CA), the UK (England & Scotland - Norfolk, Manchester, Aberdeenshire, Glasgow, Essex), Australia (Perth). If there's a specific area you'd like your materials distributed in, make sure you let me know a head of time and re-remind me via a note when you send in your promo materials! WANT TO JOIN THE ROSTER? If you wish to JOIN the AFBPromotions Roster in 2005 and have your materials distributed monthly or bi-monthly (depending on which format we choose in the new year - this will be decided by us) including online promotions, please send in your request before <b>November 6th, 2004</b>. Offline promotions in 2005 will NOT be free, but the more bands that join the roster, the cheaper the individual price will be (we're working on getting it down to anywhere from $10 - $30 a month or less). There will also be a small registration fee to be apart of the Roster (around $5).
