read to a kid day... doesnt have to be yours,... as long as you dont steal it... it will make you feel all warm and good inside afterwards :) i recently got to re read a lot of books from my childhood, including a lot of a.a. milne, rohl dahl, and beatrix potter, my fathers dragon etc; to my son. he (thank heavens) like myself has a love of the written word and is constantly wanting me to read him something. So getting back some of my childhood with him i get to stroll through the streets of London with Chistopher Robin avoiding the cracks in the squares so the bears wont eat us because we KNOW they're THERE! those silly old bears they wont catch us. and we have just now started charlie and the chocolate factory .... he beat me tho.
