This is the greatest little restaurant in Canmore. It's owned by a local artist in town who has decorated the entire place and makes all the funky dinnerware. It's an eclectic cuisine cooked all to perfection. He also has a great wine list, about 10 house wines and a great list of premiums to complement the chef's creations. I work there now, so yes maybe I'm biased as well, but ever since I got to town this is where I've wanted to work, just such a great atmosphere, and a great little patio with beautiful surroundings, not to mention the rock waterfall. Anyway, we just opened for lunch almost two weeks ago now, and the chef has created a great little lunch menu. We've always got a crowd for dinner (mostly locals), but not many people know that we're open for lunches now. Tourists mostly stick to the Main Street, so if you're coming to Canmore, ask any local where we're situated, they'll happily point you in the right direction. - Rachel , posted 05/31/05 |
